In the period from 26.-28.3.2023. iMEAT, a small fair dedicated to butchers and the meat industry, took place at the FieraModena fairground in Modena, Italy. Small tools, knives, spices, packaging and work clothes and shoes could be seen and bought in two pavilions. There were also many producers of meat and meat products. Chambers for drying and ripening meat, refrigerated showcases and the art of stacking meat are on display. There was also equipment for meat processing, a scale, a vacuum cleaner, and a packaging line. I expected a much bigger fair considering the strong meat industry of the region. Everything fit in one big and one small pavilion.
